Christmas is upon us once again, seems like no time since Christmas last year and it was twelve months ago. Goodness, I'm not so sure it is age either as the young ones are saying how quickly it comes around, too.
Christmas, this year, will be a lunch of shrimp cocktails followed by venison steaks, the venison given to me by a neighbour, with salad and new potatoes out of my garden. Then, in the evening, it will be Whitebait fritters, the whitebait being a gift from a 'cousin' I recently met, through genealogy research.
Home made cheesecake needs to be made and Christmas cake is already in the cupboard, with an extra cake waiting in the freezer.
If you're wanting to send cards, the cards are available all year through our user-friendly site, or through our gallery.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and fulfilling New Year.
Thanks for your support throughout the year.

A Winter Rose, Helleborus, has a beautiful flower and the colour of this one was so pretty, it simply had to be shown in all it's splendour, nice and close. I believe this flower is called a Christmas Rose in the northern hemisphere where it flowers at Christmas time.
A zip file with three sizes is available here.
I hope you enjoy looking at this flower as much as I do.
