Snowing now!

Kia ora

Today has been a real change in temperatures. After waking to a lovely blue sky day with 18°C this morning it is now 2°C and snowing and the sky is black! I could feel the change yesterday and it is here. The background colours, in the above desktop, have come from the sky in the photograph, very different from our sky now, I must say. Oh well, it is winter.

However, I found a lovely summer image of my Christmas Lilies in bloom and decided to play with making another desktop. I have carted these lilies around with me since first buying the bulbs many years ago and they seem to have enjoyed this spot along the fenceline.

You may download a zip of three sizes here. I hope you enjoy the blooms.

Thank you.

The sky above me

Kia ora

Yesterday was an amazing sky day for me. Waking to a very pretty outlook, my camera and I shot out of bed, me in my pjs, to snatch a shot of the beautiful pinks and blues of our sunrise.

The evening sky was a stunner with bright gold shades lighting up the sky. Both these photographs show the beauty of my skies...and the coming of a storm which is upon us now.

Hope you enjoy the beauty in the skies above Christchurch yesterday.

Thanks for popping in here to check anything new.

I know many of my desktops are unavailable from 4shared, because I forgot to pop in there one month and everything was deleted, however, anyone wanting me to upload anything, please let me know and I'll do so...there is an email link down the bottom of the left panel.

Pretty Pansy

Kia ora

Time has flown by since doing my last desktop. This time I have used another photograph, taken by me, at Ohinetahi on the Banks Peninsula, near Christchurch, Aotearoa/New Zealand.

The garden is so beautiful and varied with many types of flowers making for some lovely photographs. Believe it, or not, this pansy was on top of the compost bin and looking so fresh and lovely, I couldn't resist taking a pic. Love the colours of it, too. I used two PSP scripts for the pansy, one watercolour and the other art and combined the two, with the original, for the lefthand image, and also tubed the pansy and added in the front of the images.

I hope you like it and download this desktop, I have it on my desktop right now and am enjoying the beautiful pansy in the different ways of expression.

Thank you for downloading this new desktop, in three sizes, found here

There are some wonderful cards available on our card site, link in side panel.

And my friends have great sites and well worth a visit, you will find their links also in the side panel, some are members of our ToC group and others are not.

Thank you.
