I took this photograph of a very busy bee at a Garden Party at Sir Miles Warren's beautiful Ohinetahi in Governor's Bay on Lyttelton Harbour, near Christchurch. Many bees were seen dancing amongst the flowers that gorgeous spring day, about eighteen months ago.
The colours here are favourites of mine...taken from the image, using a tutorial of Angela Cable's for making a matte frame in Paint Shop Pro.
I wanted to say thank you to all those who come here and a desktop is one way I can do this. I hope you enjoy it.
A zip file with two sizes can be found here.
Thanks for popping into my blog...I do appreciate comments in my guestbook.

Friday, 25 April 2008, is ANZAC Day across New Zealand and Australia. The ANZACs, the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, are celebrated on ANZAC Day, the anniversary of the landing of the Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli, during World War One, and is observed as a day of commemoration for those New Zealanders who died during the campaign in 1915, and, today, includes the many returned servicemen and women from then and subsequent wars as well as those who died.
The photograph used here is one of a red Flanders poppy that grew in my garden, last year. I managed to get a photograph before all those lovely petals were lost. The poppy seed head was gathered on a trip to Alexandra in Central Otago a few years ago and each year since, many more poppies have grown in the tub.
Our card site has some lovely cards for ANZAC Day as well as many cards for any occasion.
Thanks for popping in to see my blog. Please leave a note in my guestbook if you have time.
